About Us:

SciGenom Labs is a Genomics R & D Services company, that provides genomic sequencing and bioinformatics services to lifescience and healthcare businesses globally as well as academic and government institutions in India. SciGenom started operations in Jan 2010. It is headquartered in Cochin, India with offices in Chennai & Hyderabad in India and San Francisco in the U.S. SciGenom is an NABL and ISO certified company, with a fully functional state-of-the-art molecular biology laboratory in Cochin and over 100 employees. It also has an R& D lab that is recognized by Department of Scientific & Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India.
Our commercial services include Next-Gen (NGS) and Sanger sequencing, bioinformatics and software solutions. We have a separate division AgGenome which focuses on solutions in agricultural genomics, through its lab based in Hyderabad. We provide our services through our in-house experienced technical team on a range of genomic technology platforms.
SciGenom has a very consistent and active focus on R&D; we believe it is this investment in R&D that will help further the cause of science. We conduct research work aimed at understanding the role of DNA sequence variation in human health and disease. Our research efforts are in multiple areas and focus primarily on Gene Tests/Assay Development, Genomic Studies, Bioinformatics Algorithm Development. Through our research foundation (SGRF), we conduct Scientific conferences and non commercial R&D projects related to Agriculture, Bio-pesticides, and Community healthcare.
