We provide our clients Static Cone Penetrometer - Hand Operated that is driven by means of a rack and pinion while it can be manually driven through a gearing arrangement. The gearbox rack as well as the pinion is fixed on two upright pillars and also the movement of the rack is properly guided by a bracket and two pillars. Following are some of the specifications of these penetrometers:

• The loading is done hydraulically
• Two pressure gauges 15cm dia
• One of low capacity o-60kg/sq.cm.in 0.5kg/cm/sq. divisions and other of 0 to 160kg/cm.sq are offered to indicate the penetration resistance
• Isolation valve is provided to automatically isolate the lower range gauge as soon as it reaches the maximum capacity
• The valve can be adjusted and locked at desired values between 20 to 60kg/cm.sq.
• Provision is made to anchor the unit at a site and there is also a provision for lateral shifting to perform subsequent tests without having to shift the entire anchorage system
