Rock Permeability

• The instrument meets the essential requirements laid down in IS:4348-1973.
• It is single panel unit on which are mounted a set of valves, pressure gauge, pressure regulator, brass water reservoir, graduated glass tube etc.
• The outlet of the reservoir is connected to the top of the permeability cell. It is made out of non-corrosive material or MS chemically coated for rust protection.
• Air-vent valve is provided on the top plate, while at the bottom a funnel is fixed through which passes the percolated water to the measuring bottle.
• Cell can accommodate 100 mm dia x 100 mm high specimen.
