Heating Mantle offered finds usage in applying heat to containers and acts as an alternative to other forms of heated bath. In contrast to other heating devices like hotplates or Bunsen, these glassware containers can be placed in direct contact with heating mantle without substantially bringing an increase in the risk of glassware shattering as heating element of heating mantle comes insulated from container, thus preventing excessive temperature gradients. Working on operating voltage range of 220 Volts, these also have epoxy resins coated aluminum body with glass yarn mantle. Further, these also come fitted with energy regulator and feature. Some standard features of the system include Two and Three Zenol distributed heating, Body made out of thick Aluminum sheet and Easy replacement of spares.
