Condensers are made up of glass shells with suitable buttress ends and coils inside the shell. In conventional type, the coil bundle is made up of multiple coils connected in parallel and has inlet - outlet connections at two opposite ends. For condensers bigger than HE 225, type HEU is also available where there is a double continuous coil. These condensers have two inlets and one outlet arranged at 120° to one another and located at lower end of the condenser.
