With an intention to enhance the standing we have built, we are occupied in offering a wide collection of Direct Shear Test Apparatus.
A direct shear test is conducted on a soil specimen in a shear box which is split into two halves. The box is divided horizontally such that the dividing plane passes through the centre. The specimen contained in the box is subjected to a constant normal load while an increasing horizontal force is applied to one of the sections of the shear box which causes a shear failure along the junction between the box section. The shear force and normal load are measured directly.
Suitable for operation on 220 V single plase AC supply specimen size 60x60x25mm.
