Vertical Optical Dilatometer Misura® ODHT for Non-Contact Thermo Mechanical Measurements
The vertical optical dilatometer Misura® ODHT from Expert System Solutions is a non-contact device specifically designed to handle thermo mechanical measurements following the process of sintering, expansion, or bloating of materials and analysing the sample across the whole industrial firing cycle.
Research indicates that optical non-contact dilatometry seems to be the better method for thermal analysis in comparison to push-rod and laser dilatometer. The Misura® ODHT is based on the double beam concept where the first optical path is adjusted to the top of the sample, while the second optical path, focused on the sample holder, is taken as a reference beam to correct the mechanical drift of the device.

•        Up to a maximum temperature of 1650°C and heating rate up to 80°C/min
