Palas® universal fluid condensation particle counter UF-CPC is optimized for specific concentrations. It measures the total particle concentration of ultrafine and nanoparticles suspended in air or other carrier gases from a range of 4 nm to 10,000 nm with the highest resolution of 256 raw data channels and concentration upto 2 x 10^6 particles/cm^3 in single count mode.
In addition to their number, it also measures the size of the droplets and provides the user with additional information concerning the condensation process. This novel and patented (German patent no.: DE 10 2005 001 992 A1) working fluid delivery system provides greater flexibility. The user is no longer limited to butanol or water but may also opt for more environmentally friendly or better suited working liquids for special applications, in addition to the butanol and water. In addition, the modularity of the components enables the user to perform most maintenance tasks (e.g. cleaning, pump replacement).
