UV Reflector

UV reflectors are a critical part of any UV curing system.   HHV produces world-class UV reflectors, which can be used in an optical system to dramatically speed up the UV curing process. UV reflectors give a high reflectance of UV energy while visible and infrared energy are suppressed. This enhances quality of finished products, improves durability, boosts productivity through substantial saving in energy, reduces drying times and labor and dissipates absolutely no environmental pollution.   HHV offers Glass and Aluminum reflectors in two different profiles.   Elliptical Reflector: The elliptical reflector demonstrates the highest efficiency for two-dimensional or simple parts. These reflectors focus the energy into a narrow curing zone at the far focal point. This generates high peak irradiance promoting deep cure. Using an elliptical reflector would require the lamp to be moved continuously to keep the surface near the concentrated focal point.  
Parabolic Reflector: Curing the complex or three-dimensional piece favors the parabolic reflector. The diffused light of the parabolic reflector provides a more consistent exposure to irregular surfaces.
