The Skinfold Caliper is used for estimation of body fat by skin fold
thickness measurement .The Skinfold Caliper tester pinches the skin at the appropriate site to raise a double layer of skin and underlying adipose tissue, but not the muscle. The calipers are then applied 1cm below and at right angles to the pinch, and reading taken 2 seconds later .The measured value is given by the special dial type gauge fixed in the instrument. This Skinfold Caliper is nicely painted to give an aesthetic appeal . The instrument has a range of 80mm with a resolution of 0.01mm.
