It is used to estimate the Chemical Oxygen Demand in water/waste water samples by Semi-Automated Colorimetry. The set incorporates highly efficiency aluminum block heater with holes to accommodate glass tubes of 16 mm dia. The block is heated by an array of tubular heaters properly embedded in the block for uniform heating. Precision Cod Reactor is provided with insert rack to hold the glass reaction tubes during digestion or adding sample/reagents and for storage and a water circulation type cooling bath.
