Liquid Nitrogen Tank is constructed of a double walled cylindrical tank with annular space between the inner and outer vessels made up of the insulating material for protection against the surrounding heat. It is thoroughly evacuated to a high vacuum for ensuring minimum evaporation. The cold convertor used with the cryogenic storage tank is equipped with pressure building arrangement with automatic pressure build-up regulator. The construction of liquid nitrogen storage tank is designed in order to make it compact, solid and easy to operate. Using the top end filling reduces the pressure inside the tank and bottom filling increases the pressure. The cryogenic tank is fitted with a pressurizing system that increases the pressure when the liquid nitrogen is uploaded to tanks or gas line vaporizers. The pressurizing system is used for regulating the opening of both top and bottom filling valve ensuring almost no change of pressure during liquid delivery. This makes constant supply of liquid to vaporizer possible. Liquid nitrogen tank is able to store liquid nitrogen at temperatures up to (-196°C) with capacity ranging from 200 liters to 1, 50,000 liters having the option of low and high pressure. Cold convertors are used for supplying pressure pipe line networks after gasification in atmospheric heat exchangers, storage tank networks or tanks of smaller capacity for low liquid temperature directly.
