This apparatus Consists of a steamjacket (Brass pipe) 50 cm long and 2.5 cm dia with inlet and outlet tubes for steam and opening for a thermometer, fitted with spherometer. The spherometer reads up to 0.01mm. The exact setting at which it contatcts the rod may be indicated by using an electric contacting circuit, such a a dry cell or buzzer. Supplied complete with 3 testrods.
