Kymograph
Product Details:
Kymograph : Kymo means wave: Graphin means write. Kymograph is thus the name given to any instrument which records movement on moving surface. The degree of movement can be analyzed from the height of the wave and its relation to time is measured by horizontal distance. It consists of following parts:
a) Electric Motor: It runs on 220 volts AC
b) Shaft:
1. It is connected to the motor vertically and can be rotated at different speeds.
Speed in mm/sec. (with 6” dia cylinder)

1. It has a groove on one side and a screw lift at the top. A small rectangular plug mounted on the screw inside the shaft comes out through the groove.
2. The rectangular plug can be raised or lowered along the groove by rotating the screw lift at the top. It supports the weight of the drum and prevents it from sliding down during the rotation. The level of drum can therefore adjusted as desired by the top screw-lift.
3. Gears these are employed for changing the shaft speed. A Lever is provided for changing the gears.
4. Contact button it is specially designed keys mounted on the drum. It gets closed momentarily when the rotating protecting stirrer presses upon it.
