These lightweight ovens are designed to protect electrodes from atmospheric moisture which is readily picked up by the hygroscopic coating in low hydrogen electrodes. It can be used at the higher temperature and then brought down for regular storage. Portable ovens are light and easy to carry and the square shape gives the ovens greater stability vertically or horizontally.
