Laboratory Incubator
Product Details:
Laboratory incubator provides a temperature-controlled environment to support growth of microbiological cultures. Typical incubators are insulated boxes with an adjustable heater, going up to 60°C to 65°C (140°F to 149°F), though some can go slightly higher (generally to no more than 100°C).
Esco Isotherm® laboratory incubator is built with reliable performance and standards. Ergonomic, intuitive interfaces, microprocessor PID controls with programming options, 4-zone heated air jacket, precisely tuned and tested ventilation and insulation package, all supported by Esco's solutions-based sales and service representatives worldwide.
Must-have features to consider:
- Superior insulation that improves chamber stability and reduces heat load output to the laboratory and operating power consumption, that lowers operating costs
- Excellent microprocessor PID control technology that ensures fast ramp time
- Comprehensive diagnostic LEDs
- Rigid glass door for observing samples inside the chamber during operation
- Exceptional pre-heat chamber technology that guarantees maximum thermal performance
- High-quality 2-point door seal and eccentric hinge ensures maximum gasket compression for stable chamber temperature
- Forced convection design produces faster temperature response rates, improves uniformity and reduce fluctuation
- Permanently lubricated and maintenance-free fan for uniform air circulation
- Easy-to-clean external surface coated with Isocide™ to eliminate 99.9% of surface bacteria within 24 hours of exposure
- Dedicated UV disinfection feature available in refrigerated incubator model that can be manually or automatically operated
- Auto-defrosting feature in refrigerated incubator model during operation and activates regularly
- Side access port for temperature validation and mapping
- Water reservoir for water collection during defrosting
Forced convection lab incubator
Forced convection lab incubator provides a temperature-controlled environment to support growth of microbiological cultures via forced convection system. This type of incubator can reach up to 100°C from the ambient (+7.5°C) temperature.
Natural convection lab incubator
Natural convection lab incubator provides a temperature-controlled environment to support growth of microbiological cultures via natural convection design to minimize disturbance to the samples. This type of incubator can reach up to 80°C from the ambient (+7.5°C) temperature.
Refrigerated incubator
Refrigerated incubator, generally called low temperature incubator is designed to maintain temperatures below ambient to as low as about 10°C. Maintaining low temperature is necessary to perform Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) testing which involves incubating samples saturated with oxygen at 20°C usually for five days.
