q. how igneous rock is formed?
a. igneous rock forms through the cooling and solidification of magma or lava. Igneous rock may form with or without crystallization, either below the surface as intrusive (plutonic) rocks or on the surface as extrusive (volcanic) rocks.
this collection contains 15 types of basic rocks specimens of igneous rocks types. The igneous rock specimens include some of the following andesite, basalt, granite, gabbro, obesidian, pegmatite, pumice & rhyolite etc.
