HPTLC
HPTLC (High Performance Thin Layer Chromatography) is used to separate individual mixtures into components to identify and quantify them. The technique is accepted by all the pharmacopoeias of the world.
An HPTLC system consists of HPTLC system manager software, HPTLC applicator, HPTLC development chambers, HPTLC photodocumentation, HPTLC Scanner, along with other modules like Derivatizer, TLC-MS etc as required.
You can choose only those modules that you need for your application. For example, Pharma customers can choose our “HPTLC Photodocumentation with 21CFR compliance” instrument for complying with regulatory requirements.
Unique features of HPTLC are that it is the fastest, simplest, most economical and flexible, “visible” technique which can analyse in parallel more than 100 samples. It is risk free and multiple detections can be made without repeating chromatogram. It is several times faster and cheaper than HPLC, another liquid chromatography technique. HPTLC is used for the analysis of non-volatile organics such as pharmaceuticals, APIs, botanicals, forensics, foods, speciality chemicals, etc. for establishing purity, impurities, fingerprint and reverse engineering.
