ANALYSIS PARAMETERS
WBC Parameters
WBC (Number of leukocytes: x103/µl) WBC count in 1 µl of whole blood MID% (Percentage of Mid-sized Cells: %) Ratio (%) of mid-sized cells to total WBC LYM# (Number of Lymphocytes: x103/µl) Absolute count of lymphocytes in 1 µl of whole blood GRAN# (Number of Granulocytes: x103/µl) Absolute count of granulocytes in 1 µl of whole blood MID# (Number of Mid-sized Cells: x103/µl) Absolute count of mid-sized cells in 1 µl of whole blood GRAN% (Percentage of Granulocytes: %) Ratio (%) of granulocytes to total WBC LYM% (Percentage of Lymphocytes: %) Ratio (%) of lymphocytes to total WBC
RBC Parameters
RBC (Number of erythrocytes: x106/µl) RBC count in 1 µl of whole blood HCT (Hematocrit: %) Ratio (%) of total RBC volume in whole blood MCH (Mean Corpuscular Haemoglobin: pg) Mean haemoglobin content (pg) per RBC. MCH is calculated by HGB/RBC RDW-SD (Red Blood Cell Distribution Width Standard Deviation: fL) The distribution width (fL) is obtained by calculating the standard deviation of the red blood cell size distribution. Useful for the detection of anisocytosis of RBC RDW-CV (Red Blood Cell Distribution Width Coecient of Variation: %) Based on the RBC histogram, the analyzer calculates the CV (Coecient of Variation, %) of the erythrocyte distribution width. Useful for the diagnosis of hereditary spherocytosis MCHC (Mean Corpuscular Haemoglobin Concentration: g/dL) Mean Haemoglobin Concentration (g/dL) in RBC. MCHC is calculated by HGB/HCT MCV (Mean Corpuscular Volume: fL) Mean RBC volume (fL) in whole blood HGB (Haemoglobin Concentration: g/dL) Concentration (gram) of haemoglobin in 1 dL of whole blood
