• This microprocessor-based instrument with self-test and auto-calibration features two highly sensitive inputs now with an extended frequency range of DC to 1.6GHz. The reciprocal frequency measurement technique provides high resolution of low frequency signals: at least seven digits for a 1s measuring time.
• The SM5052 is equipped with a high stability temperature compensated crystal oscillator (OCXO/ TCXO), featuring an excellent stability of 0.5ppm over the entire working temperature range.
• Readings of frequency, period, time interval, and totalized count upto 99,999,999, combined with the Display Hold function and full range offset makes this instrument ideally suited for a broad range of applications.
• The Auto Trigger function senses the applied signal for stable operation on different waveforms, even those with extremely short duty cycles. The SM5052 provides variable trigger control, offers selectable 20dB attenuation, and AC or DC coupling to simplify measurements on complex signals.
