Cord Retention Test Apparatus

Cord Retention Test Apparatus for Plugs and portable socket-outlets shall be provided with a cord anchorage such that the conductors are relieved from strain, including twisting, where they are connected to the terminals or terminations, their covering being protected from abrasion. The plugs attach with cable and connector is subjected to pull test as per IEC 60884 standard.  The plug is loosely hung from the fixture and a dead weight is attached as per the IEC 60884 standard.
