Graduations are made in white color which helps the user to take accurate readings as white color is easily visible on most of the chemicals used in the laboratory. Stopcocks in burettes have a choice of Teflon screw thread & glass on/off type. In glass stopcocks with high vacuum, grease is to be applied before use. Teflon stopcocks provide maximum resistance against chemical attacks during use. Along with no leakage & excellent flow of chemicals through it with uniformity.
