BI-COLOR / CAPSULE FOLLOWER MAGNETIC LEVEL INDICATOR
Product Details:
It is commonly used for visual level indication of liquids, which attack glass or are hazardous, flammable, toxic, aggressive, agitated, contaminated and under high temperature & Pressure i.e. for services where glass gauges are unsafe.

Rugged gland less construction to provide safety in handling toxic, flammable & highly corrosive Liquid. Suitable for glass attacking liquid, where conventional gauge glass can not be used
Construction & Operation :
It consists of a chamber and an internal float in non-magnetic material compatible with the liquid. The float containing a magnetic system rides on liquid level and is coupled to an external visual indicator, which comes in two options. The simnpler & economical design consists of a RED magnetic follower Capsule, that moves within a glass tube Filled with water (to reduce friction) and can be read against a scale. The Other system is expensive and consists of a series of Bi-colour flappers. White on front side and contrasting RED on the reverse. These flappers rotate corresponding to float movement, thus changing their colour from white to red as the float rises and vice-versa when the float falls. As such the liquid represented by an external RED coloumn.
Operating Principle :
These models consist of Bi-coloured magnetic rollers equipped with small rod magnets which are rotated one after another at an angle of 180o by the directed field of the Permanent magnet inside the float.
In addition, Level sensing elements can be fixed directly to the float cage, so that simultaneously liquid level is electrically measured through smart transmitter with output of 4-20mA. It is possible to connect Level indicating Meters and Set Point Relays at any distance for control and display purpose. The Magnetic Level transmitters can also be supplied with HART PROTOCOL.
Moreover it is possible to attach bistable Magnetic Switches to the Magnetic Level indicator in order to get switching at any desired liquid level.
