TECHNICAL INFORMATION Governing Specifications: BS 2050 / 1978IS 3462 / 1986 Material: Homogeneous composition with Black conductive layer sandwiched between two antistatic Layers. Thickness : 2mm +/-0.1mm ( 0.5mm sandwiched conductive layer ) Tensile Strength : More than 25mj/m3 exceeds Flexibility : Does not break or show any Sign of Failure. Sound Reduction Factor : 3db for 2mm thickness. In flammability : Self extinguishing as per RDSO C – 8515 Water Absorption: At room temperature for 24 hrs is less than 0.1%. Heat Aging Exudation: No surface cracking or Exudation takes place, as per IS:3462- 1986. Standard Supply: 2.0 Mtrs width x approx. 15 Mtrs Running length. Dimension Tolerance: +/-5%. Electrical Properties Surface Resistivity : 10 8 – 10 10 ohms / sq. Decay Time : Less than 2 seconds. Resistance to Chemicals Offers above average resistance from mild and diluted acids & alkalis. The surface has to be cleaned immediately is case concentrated acid or alkalis spill. INSTALLATION Ensure sub floors are smooth, dry, clean & structurally sound. We recommend FEVICOL SR 998 / SR 505 or any equivalent rubber based adhesive for laying. For clean room conditions Thermo Welding is recommended. MAINTENANCE _ The surface should be cleaned daily with damp mop and weekly or fortnightly with Antistatic Floor Cleaners. _ To remove stubborn stains rub the affected area with coir brush or fine steel wool NO.000 soaked in warm soap solution. Use water to remove chemical spillage on the flooring. _ Do not throw lighted cigarette butts or match sticks on the floor. _ Avoid dragging heavy furniture or objects so as to avoid scratches on the floor
