- Oscar Troponin-I test is a rapid immuno assay for qualitative detection of cardiac Troponin-I (cTn-I) in human serum / plasma. It is based upon lateral flow immuno chromtagraphic principle. Monoclonal antibodies are used in the test formulation to have better sensitivity and specificity.
- It is a visual test and results can be obtained within 20 minutes of serum / plasma addition. Available in 10 tests pack. NO buffer required. Just add serum / plasma in sample well of the device and wait for appearance of pink / purple lines in result window. Appearance of two lines, one at 'T' and other at 'c' region, indicates a positive reaction for the Troponin-I. Presence of Troponin-I in human serum / plasma indicates cardiac attack / myocardial injury.
