Cryo Pump Module Vacuum Chambers
Product Details:
The "Cryo pumps" are designed for the good pumping speed for Hydrogen and Helium by "Cryo Condensation" Principle. The cryo pumps are cooled to 3.7K by Liquid Helium, which is pumped in the sub-atmospheric pressure. The baffles and the other shields are cooled by liquid nitrogen. The baffles are black coated to decrease the heat load into the cryo panels due to 300 K Ambient temperature radiation. The angle in the Chevron Baffles is designed to have an optically dense construction. All the materials are designed to work at low temperature and low pressure in the order of 1x10-8 mb. Because of the critical temperature and vacuum, care has to be taken while welding, fabricating, coating assembly plating etc.
Vacuum Techniques has experience in fabricating similar cryostats to different customers and quite aware of the low temperature operating problems. After the assembly of the complete cryo pump keeping the assembly inside the vacuum chamber and circulating liquid nitrogen, the efficiency of the cryo pump can be evaluated at 77K. Also the thermal conductivity measurement, emissivity measurement, Helium leak testing and any other tests required can be carried out. The Cryo pump basically consists of Liquid Nitrogen cooled Baffles and end cover plates. Liquid Helium panel. Top and bottom liquid nitrogen manifolds along with 4 liquid nitrogen pipes. Liquid Helium manifolds. Support Structure. Assembly and testing.
